While Britney Spears continues to run red lights and glide through stop signs as the paps blindly follow for more pics, lawyers for Brit and K-Fed were working out the arrangements about the boys’ holidays and where they will spend them.

It seems that the came to a deal that Britney will be opening the presents with her boys on Christmas Day and have dinner with them since K-Fed had the kids for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, at a Van Nuys courtroom, Spears’ attorney asked that her case about driving without a valid license be continued until January 2 – guess Brit needs a break from it all for the holiday and some time to do shopping for presents for the boys, y’all! Word on the street says that the Los Angeles County Attorney is considering placing Spears on 12 months probation. If she gets another citation when she’s on probation, Brit will wind up in jail like popwreck Paris Hilton. (If she gets lucky, she’ll do as little time as Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie.)

Meanwhile, after a holiday in New York, Lindsay Lohan and her rehab honey Riley Giles returned to L.A. Wonder if LiLo is taking notes about the Spears/K-Fed chronicles -after all, it could be her future…

We’ve watched popwrecks Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton serve their time for partying and getting themselves in trouble. While celebrities such as Britney Spears were entering rehab, Amy Winehouse was soul-singing about rehab – and how she wasn’t going.

After doing a brief stint in rehab, getting caught with drugs and then having her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, held on remand for allegedly inflicting bodily harm on the landlord of a pub, Amy Winehouse made some seriously flawed performances. Apparently Winehouse realizes she was losing her struggle with drugs and alcohol on stage and she has canceled all her remaining planned concerts for the year because she can’t perform while Blake was in custody. Amy say, “I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake. I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”

Winehouse’s web site reports that her doc told her to cancel her live appearances, a number of which were to occur in Britain and Ireland. Earlier in the year Amy canceled her tour of the United States for health issues. Apparently Winehouse was advised that she should take a complete rest because of the intense emotional strain she was under.

Although Amy is a leading talent, it seems that she may wind up back where she really didn’t want to go – rehab.

If the first round of wildfires through Southern California wasn’t enough after it killed 14 people, there is another brush fire in Malibu. It started near the top of Corral Canyons and destroyed 5,900 acres as well as 53 homes with damages totaling over $100 million. Areas from Corral Canyon west to Trancas Canyon Road were mandatory evacuation zones and celebs had to leave their cozy abodes to avoid the flames.

Minnie Driver was driven out of her home with no sight of Criss Angel. Matthew McConaughey was also told to evacuate because of the fire and was even forced to do his grocery shopping in Beverly Hills with gal pal Camilla Alves at the trendy Bristol Farms supermarket. When Matt was asked why he was shopping so far from Malibu and his home, he just said, “The fires, man. The fires.”

Apparently rocker Axl Rose lives in the area and his house suffered damage but was saved. There was a lot of confusion in the media about Flea, bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and whether he lost his Malibu home. Seems that Flea had a rental house and house he lived in – the rental house, worth 4.8 million bucks, is the one that burned. Flea is still infesting his $10 million pad in Malibu. Did anyone hear Paris Hilton say, “That’s hot!”?

A recent article in Us magazine reveals all the dark family secrets of Britney Spears. Wow, and we thought that after this year filled with K-Fed, custody disputes, bald umbrella rages and rehab that we knew it all about Brit…but apparently not.

Seems that grandma Spears, mom to Brit’s dad, committed suicide back in 1966 at the young age of 31 as she mourned the death of her infant son at his grave. She had three previous suicide attempts and was suffering from depression over her son who died days after being born. Jamie Spears, Brit’s dad, was just 8 years old when it happened. Hopefully Britney will never lose it this much…

With losing it in mind, seems that Britney loss that cherry a lot sooner than she liked to admit. Though she sold herself as a virgin, apparently that wasn’t the case. Word on the street says that Spears lost her virginity at 14, before she even dated Justin Timberlake. However, as recently as 2000, Brit said, “The virginity issue is a personal decision and it reflects how I feel right now about myself. There are so many emotions involved that I would like to be able to wait until I know I’m with the right person and I’m married.” Hey, was that supposed to be K-Fed?

While voyeuristic bloggers are still unsure if Britney Spears spent her Thanksgiving with Miley Cyrus, we do know she shared the boys with former husband Kevin Federline. Seems that Britney got the boys the night before Thanksgiving and the morning of the holiday and K-Fed talked turkey with them later in the evening. We wonder what else K-Fed will be doing in front of the boys, especially since Brit is finally going after her ex with an investigator.

Seems that Spears has grown tired of being the only one featured in the media doing the wrong thing and that she wants to make sure K-Fed gets his share of media attention (isn’t that what K-Fed and his failed career wanted from Brit in the first place?) Britney has finally gotten some sense and hired a private investigations company to start digging up the dirt about K-Fed (dirt and K-Fed seem like a natural combination and it shouldn’t be to hard to dig some up). According to Spears, she saw former hubby K-Fed smoke dope and drink beer around the boys. If Brit can hash up some stuff about K-Fed, she may be able to turn the tables in this heated custody battle. Hey, if she does, what will K-Fed be doing for money if he isn’t getting a check from Spears? Maybe that fast food job is looking pretty good after all…

Lindsay Lohan has put her hour of jail time behind her and is in New York with rehab sidekick, Riley Giles, to celebrate Thanksgiving and talk turkey with the family. Pregger Nicole Richie did her hour in jail and is basking in her pregnant glow for the holidays. So who is the next celebrity in line to do a speed sentence in the slammer? Get the guys on board for this one because Mike Tyson checked himself into Tent City Jail in Arizona so he could serve a lengthy, stressful one-day sentence for drug charges.

Back in September, former boxing champ Tyson plead guilty to a count of felony cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence. (Think Mike did any lines with famous snorters such as Lindsay Lohan or Denise Richards? Somehow we don’t think so…) Anyway, besides his day in jail, Mike will have three years of probation. Tyson is certain to really enjoy his time in jail, where inmates wear jail-issue pink underwear (do you think anyone will get to check them out) and striped jumpsuits (Paris Hilton should have had such gear instead of that outrageous orange). Even better, the jail is right near a junkyard and dog pound – can you tell which ones are the junkyard dogs?

With all the preggers lately such as Nicole Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, it gets hard to keep up. Recently a daily double of twins was born to Dennis Quaid and Kimberly and they are already having some serious problems.

Apparently the newborns twins are at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in the neo-natal intensive care unit. While everyone is getting prepared for Thanksgiving turkey, some turkey at Cedars-Sinai gave the poor newborns a massive overdose of Heparin, an anti-coagulant. Several other patients are rumored to have also gotten an overdose of this blood thinner. It seems that the Chief Medical Office of Cedars-Sinai, Michael L. Langberg, M.D., is already apologizing and issued a statement. He says the mistake was “preventable” and there was a “failure to follow our standard policies and procedures…there is no excuse for that to occur at Cedars-Sinai.” That doesn’t help Dennis, Kimberly and the newborns now…

Langberg also said that after giving “two patients”, who were not identified by by, protamine sulfate there were “no adverse effects from the higher concentration of heparin or from the temporary abnormal clotting function. Doctors continue to monitor the patients.” Are those the same docs who administered the heparin? Sounds like a lot of CYA…

It’s amazing how long the circus behind Anna Nicole Smith lasted. Bloggers are still waiting to find out if Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead were lovers (if these guys don’t look like butt buddies, we don’t know who does). We’re also still waiting to see if the truth ever surfaces about the death of Anna Nicole and her son…for the safety of her daughter, Dannielynn, who is still alive…

Anyway, the latest news on the Anna Nicole circuit is about the retired Broward Circuit Judge Lawrence Korda – remember him? While the argument about Anna Nicole’s remains started before Korda, it wound up being decided by Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin - Korda was the one that ruled that the Bahamian court has jurisdiction over Dannielynn. However, this was not really what made Judge Korda famous. After the Smith experience, Korda was caught sparking up a doobie in a city park by the city police (yes, right in the city park – didn’t the Judge have anywhere else to go?) and it probably really wrecked his high, never mind the urge for munchies…But it seems that the Judge will no longer face misdemeanor marijuana charges, which were dropped after passing six months of random drug tests. The Judge also did 25 hours of community service for his toking trouble.

We have seen some serious popwrecks lately. Who can forget Paris Hilton and her jail stint? Or the time done by misdirected pregger Nicole Richie? The latest short stint in the slammer for excessive partying was Lindsay Lohan, right after her lengthy stay at rehab (where she picked up the next K-Fed). Which bring us to Britney Spears…

Anyway, the next popwreck on deck is Amy Winehouse, who really needs to finally say yes to rehab. After her beloved hubby and partner in partying was jailed a few days ago for a $400,000 plot to fix a trial (seems that hubby and a pal really kicked some barman’s butt) Amy had to start her UK tour with a concert in Birmingham. If everyone was upset about Britney’s latest performances (or lack of performance) they haven’t seen Amy – who was stumbling, bumbling and slurring through her performance. Fans started to boo and leave and Winehouse countered, “To them people booing, wait ’til my husband gets out of incarceration. And I mean that.” She even dropped her mic once and just walked of stage. Even Brit didn’t do that…

There is a good word is out for Winehouse - from her former teacher Sylvia Young, founder of the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Young hopes Amy will “get back on track” and says she was “blown away” by young Amy’s voice, comparing it to Ella Fitzgerald or Judy Garland. Young also says, “There is a danger that Amy will be better known for her personal life than for her God-given musical talents.”

What did Amy have to say when she was thirteen in her school application? “I want people to hear my voice and just … forget their troubles for five minutes.” If only Amy could forget hers for awhile…

Seems like the men of Hollywood are getting into as much trouble as the women and there’s some media competition for popwrecks such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. No sooner is Paris Hilton done with jail time and allegedly sticking up for the sobriety of elephants than her former business partner at Orlando’s Club Paris is discovered to have a checkered history…

Word on the street say that Fereidoun “Fred” Khalilian was accused to sexual misconduct or rape on at least three separate occasions. On one of the instances, a passerby called the cops to report “Fred” for trying to rape a woman outside Club Paris – the female victim turned out to be Heather Dodt, Khalilian’s girlfriend at the time. That’s not hot!

Meanwhile, a grand jury indicted Barry Bonds, home run champ, on the grounds of perjury and obstruction of justice. The indictment was the end result of an investigation that spanned four years to decide whether Bonds lied to a grand jury about professional athletes and the use of steroids. However, Bonds’ home run record that surpasses legend Hank Aaron may remain intact, even though Bonds was dismissed by the San Francisco Giants and indicted by a grand jury. Time will tell…
