We know that decades ago tales about a star usually died when they did. That’s all changed and we can tell stars live on from the ongoing stories about famous people such as Anna Nicole Smith and Princess Diana.

The latest tales about a celebrity passed on are being told by the uncle of Heath Ledger. Apparently the deceased actor may have fathered another child back when he was 17 years old back in high school. Seems the Ledger was dating a 25 year old woman and his uncle refers to the “love child” saying “there is a very real possibility that Heath” is the baby daddy. Heath already had a beloved daughter with his former fiance Michelle Williams and he was often seen having a wonderful time with little Matilda. Now if the other child turns out to be fathered by Heath, there may be an estate battle ahead for Michelle.

Heath was a talented actor but also a very private person who preferred his family over clubbing or red carpet affairs. His death in his New York City apartment back in January was a shock for many. Now it seems that more surprising events may unfold after this famous actor’s death…and the results for Michelle and Matilda are yet to be seen…

No sooner do we hear about Richie Sambora’s DUI, it’s time to find out about Rikki Rockett’s trouble. It’s nothing but a bad time for Poison drummer Rikki Rockett who got arrested when he arrived at an LA airport on Monday. Seems that he was returning from a concert date in New Zealand when the authorities caught up with him on a Mississippi rape warrant. The incident occurred on September, 23, 2007, at at the Silver Star Hotel & Casino in Mississippi. Apparently a female guest claims she was raped by Rockett in his hotel room. The alleged sexual assault was not reported for several days until the female decided to go t the Neshoba County Sheriff’s department to file a report. The warrant was issued after there seemed to be probable cause for Rikki (a 46 year old former hairdresser named Richard Ream) to be arrested. Rockett was let go when law enforcement decided not to extradite him, pending the official charges from the Neshoba D.A.

While fellow band member Brett Michaels enjoys a second season on VH1 reality show “Rock of Love”, Rikki is canceling coffee shop gigs with singer fiancee Melanie Martel “due to what’s going on”. Rockett won’t discuss his legal problems at this point either “because of his lawyers”. The current whereabouts of the rocker are not known at this time but it does seem that “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”…

An update in Richie Sambora and his DUI arrest in Laguna Beach, California on Tuesday night – seems that the passengers have now become know to the press.

Apparently Richie was weaving around on the road at 10:52 PM with his girlfriend and his 10 year old daughter with his ex-wife Heather Locklear. The other juvenile girl is still unknown, but bloggers wonder how Heather feels about her daughter Ava being in the car with ex Richie during a DUI arrest.

Sambora was in his Hummer and Laguna Beach Police Sergeant Jason Kravetz said that the Bon Jovi guitarist, “…smelled of alcohol.” Kravetz also stated that, “At this point there’s no indication of drugs.” Apparently a mutual friend of Locklear and Sambora commented that the arrest was shocking, though bloggers wonder why. Last year Sambora was in the same rehab as Lindsay Lohan and had said, “I was just drinking too much and need to get my life together.” Add to that the tough year the 48 year old had - his divorce from Locklear was final last April, his relationship with hottie Denise Richards broke up and his dad died of lung cancer. Sambora goes back to court on May 7.

We are really wondering why celebs don’t simply hire a driver to take them around if they want to party so they don’t wind up in jail. With so many celebs getting bagged for DUI, you would think they’d learn from their friends. Despite the experiences of people such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan, Richie Sambora decided to drive under the influence of alcohol and got arrested for it despite his attempts at rehab.

The Bon Jovi guitarist and former boyfriend of hotties Heather Locklear and Denise Richards got arrested at around 11 PM after an office saw him weaving in traffic lanes in his black Hummer. Sambora was given sobriety tests in the field, got arrested then booked at Laguna Beach jail and released at 4 AM. Passengers in the car included a woman and two girls. According to Laguna Beach police sergeant Jason Kravetz, “He was very cooperative with all the staff.” As 48 years old, we would hope Richie knows to cooperate if he doesn’t realize he shouldn’t be driving and drinking…

Anyway, Richie will need to appear for a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence on May 7 with no word about any of it from Sambora’s publicist…

We’ve watched the honeys of Hollywood get into all kinds of trouble and get back up on their feet again. Nobody ever imagined that Britney Spears, in her seemingly fragile emotional state, would wind up on television sitcom How I Met Your Mother and get rave reviews. Paris Hilton always seems to wind up partying, no matter what trouble she gets into. We all remember foxy Vivica A. Fox and her driving while under the influence fiasco, including racial comments to the cops. Now that Vivica has sobered up and moved on, she is ready to go back to reality television.

Vivica will be in a competition series for VH1 called ‘Glam God with Vivica A. Fox’. The eight episodes will spotlight contestants trying to become a star stylist, showing off talents in wardrobe, hair and makeup. The winner styles an A-list celeb and gets $100,000. Cris Abrego created the show, the man behind reality shows such as “Gotti’s Way” and “Flavor of Love”. VH1 programming chief, Jeff Olde, says, “Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every time.” As long as she doesn’t have any cocktails along the way…

While pregger Jessica Alba is absolutely notorious for avoiding the paps and finding them an intrusion, apparently the singing husband of Heidi Klum makes her look friendly. Seal was with Heidi when he had a heated tiff with the paps in Los Angeles right outside the restaurant Madeo.

Apparently one of the paps reached to shake hands with Seal who responded by saying, “Why would I shake hands with scum? What you do is ruin people’s lives…a cockroach. I don’t like what you do. You are scum.” The paps razzed Seal and praised Heidi for her silence which pissed hubby off more. “Don’t bring her into it. Ask your mother how I feel. You think I’m gonna be nice to you because you’re filming me. I’m ready for any of you. Bring it.” Them sounds like fighting words to us! It also seems the paps are smearing Seal about it all over cyberspace with comments like don’t eat at hot spots if you don’t want to get attention from the photogs.

Other celebs tormented by paps include Britney Spears and her infamous umbrella-wielding rage and Howard Stern who has complained about paps following him around through every little thing he does. But bloggers say it’s when everyone stops caring you should worry…

While Jessica Simpson smiles for the cameras with pro player Tony Romo, Ashlee Simpson is dealing with depressed Fall Out Boy front man Pete Wentz who seems to find it difficult to smile at all.

In fact, during the time his band recorded their first big record, Pet says he was “complete lost and out of control”. Even prescription drugs couldn’t help him out. Wentz recalls, “I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and sat there and took a bunch of Ativan (an anxiety drug) in a Best Buy parking lot.” His revelations are part of series ‘Half of Us’ to try to prevent suicide for MTVU. Wentz goes on, “And I called up my manager because I was, at that point, completely out of my head with Ativan. And I was talking to him and I was slurring my words, so he called my mom and my mom called me and she came and got me and we went to the hospital. It’s not really about keeping your head above water, it’s about feeling all right and feeling safe in your own skin.”

We wonder if Ashlee Simpson is feeling safe in this relationship right now…and if Pete is even ready for a commitment…

Ironically, not shortly after Britney Spears met with Mel Gibson, there was a suicide at one of his homes.

Yes, apparently a construction worker in the movie business took his own life at one of Mel’s homes near Malibu in Agoura Hills. While Mel was meeting a fragile Spears, apparently one of the workers on his home was going through his own personal crisis. The guy, Michael John Van Dyke, was 48 years old and apparently never got over a messy divorce he went through a few years ago. His depression was seemingly compounded by some serious financial issues and Van Dyke decided to end it all by hanging himself. He suspended himself from one of the structures under construction on Mel’s property. The next morning Van Dyke was found by the foreman on the job site.

Mel says he feels “terrible” that someone committed suicide on his nearly hallowed grounds. His Agoura Hills home is less than a mile away from the Catholic Church founded by Mel, the location of his beloved daughter’s wedding in ‘06. Mel didn’t know Van Dyke, who worked as a construction foreman on movies such as “Karate Kid” and “Star Trek: Nemesis”. Seems like we should check in on Britney…

Let’s face it, we all love to talk about the beautiful women of Hollywood, especially when they get in trouble. Lindsay Lohan gave us so much to talk about during her Firecrotch days and sexual marathon moments at rehab. Britney Spears still gives us plenty to follow after a year filled with crotch shots, head shaving, umbrella wielding rages, rehab, losing her children to K-Fed, having her daddy appointed a conservator to handle her money…the list is endless. From Kirsten Dunst to Paris Hilton, the more gorgeous the babe, the more likely we want to know everything they’re doing.

Recently another favorite, Kimora Lee Simmons, comments about her experiences with the media. Former wife of mogul Russ Simmons and current fashionista and reality television star, Kimora is a luscious lady who attracts plenty of attention. She said about it all, “I’m in the paper every single week - that I had a fight with my ex-husband, or that I was mad at one of his girlfriends, or that I’m pregnant, or that I demand Fiji water … Lies upon lies upon lies … People believe what they want to believe because it’s sensational and it’s fun. Seems that Sam Lutfi has to stay away from Britney Spears for another month. The conservators for the Spears’ estate and Lutfi agreed to extend the restraining order for another 30 days and await court order. Meanwhile, Britney had an interesting weekend making new friends as she got rid of the old.

Brit was seen with Mel Gibson and others in Studio City at Romanov restaurant. According to a source from the restaurant, “It was exciting to have both of them here together. We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited.”

It also seems that Britney could use a good man on her side. Apparently the latest news about the men in her life is they will be teaming up. Yes, conservator daddy Jamie and ex-hubby Federline (both currently living off Britney’s cash) want to join forces to take over K-Fed’s favorite Mexican restaurant. Hey, we all pictured K-Fed working at a fast food restaurant but I guess he’s got Brit’s cash to burn, so he’ll “run” his own…and so does daddy, who apparently got into the restaurant biz before but his attempt didn’t make it (guess his daughter’s dough is giving him hope of making cake)…yes, an independent man rather than dependent ones may be helpful for Spears right now…
