We’ve seen Whitney Houston in all kinds of trouble over the years. With a long term marriage to bad boy Bobby Brown, Whitney was seen in every state of mind, especially during their reality television show. Finally the doomed duo split up and Whitney was seen around town with Ray-J, famous for being Brandy’s brother and the co-star of Kim Kardashian Superstar.

Anyway, Whitney spent an entire half hour rasping out songs before Rod Stewart took the stage at a festival in Tobago. Formerly a soprano, Whitney reached new tenor tones during her performance. Wearing a one shoulder white gown, Whitney was the diva and didn’t allow any media closer than 200 feet to the stage. She had her own photographer to take pics of her performance, which was much less than she thought it was. As blissfully unaware as she always was, Whitney kept skipping around the stage and shouting, “I love you Trinidad!” The only problem is Whitney was performing in Tobago and never seemed to notice the locals shouting back at her, “This is Tobago”. Sounds much like her marriage to Bobby Brown…anyway, for this stellar performance of a whopping 30 minutes, Whitney was paid a cool 3 million. Maybe she has a lot of lawyers’ fees left to pay…

We’ve gotta give it to Vivid Entertainment, leaders in the adult film industry. They brought us hot action in the past including Kim Kardashian Superstar and films from sexy giants such as Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. Now Vivid claims to have another sex tape starring a a rock legend – Jimi Hendrix!

That’s right, the New York Times reported ‘Jimi Hendrix the Sex Tape’ will be released by Vivid, including 11 minutes of a dude that looks much like Jimi spending time with two brunettes in a bedroom with low lighting. Diehard fans of Jimi knew for years the tape was out there but now they can get to see it themselves, along with clips of Hendrix wearing clothes on a 45 minute DVD.

Vivid feels they’ve done the research to prove it’s Jimi doing the nasty. According to co-chairman Steven Hirsch, “I believe we did our due diligence, and as a result of that clearly believe its him. If they said that it wasn’t him, I would never have put it out.”

Vivid claims to have tracked down the guy who shot the film on eight-millimeter back in the day but an ex-girlfriend of Jimi doesn’t think it’s him. Kathy Etchingham told the Times, “It is not him. He would never have allowed anyone to see that.” Plenty of women have thought the same and found out otherwise…

Maybe Amy Winehouse’s dad is taking lessons about taking control of his daughter from Britney Spears’ daddy - have they gone bowling? Seems that Mitch Winehouse feels it will take extreme measures to help trainwreck daughter Amy. She’s been in and out of rehab, was seen smoking crack and joints and even wandered around the streets in her underwear. The latest assault seems to have taken the cake for dad because he said to News of World, “I want her sectioned. The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street.”

Daddy Winehouse goes on to say, “I don’t think being somewhere for six weeks is going to cure her problems. I think it needs far more radical measure. We will take the bull by the horns and deal with it.” He also claims he wants “what’s best for her.” Papa Winehouse comments, “Unfortunately, what I think is best for Amy and what she thinks is best for her are two different things. You need all four – the psychologists, the doctor, the local health authority and the next of kin – all to decide somebody is sectionable.” Will Amy wind up in a mental hospital instead of rehab this time? Dad feels, “ I’ve told them she is a danger to herself. There is evidence of self-harming and she’s a danger to other people because she’s attacked someone.”

Seems that Wesley Snipes was caught in the act and now has to pay up with big time in the big house for evading his taxes. A judge sentenced Snipes to three years in the slammer for tax evasion but he wasn’t forced to surrender immediately. Wesley will be able to surrender close to his New Jersey home at a later date. The conviction occurred back in February with three misdemeanor charges for not filing taxes.

According to Nathan J. Hochman, Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Tax Division, “Snipes long prison sentence should send a loud and crystal clear message to all tax defiers that if they engage in similar tax defier conduct, they face joining him and his co-defendants…as inmates in prison.”

Attorneys for Snipes argued he only owed $228,000 but the government said he owned $2.7 million (we know how quickly they rack up those interest and penalties but that seems to be an extreme difference). The judge did not impose a fine but Snipes got the maximum sentence of three years in jail. The bottom line is he will have to do at least 2 ½ years out of the three – and that’s only if he’s a model prisoner. Remember, federal inmate aren’t eligible for parole…we bet Wesley wishes he paid his taxes and got drunk instead – after all, with babes like Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan walking out in an hour for those charges, maybe he picked the wrong sin. You can surely see our government’s point – after all, drinking and driving only stands a chance of killing everyone you meet on the road. Failing to pay your taxes is cutting into some big wig’s paycheck…now how can you compare?

As bloggers just reported, you can always count on Amy Winehouse to deliver trouble even while the other celebrities taking a break. While Britney Spears is kissing K-Fed and Lindsay Lohan is laying low, Amy Winehouse first was spotted slugging liquor while holding her friend’s baby. A couple of days later Winehouse was seen toking on a fat joint. Now the 24 year old singer was apparently arrested on suspicion of assault on Friday.

Seems there was a scuffle between Winehouse and two men in north London which lead to the diva being taken to the police station for questioning. According to word on the street, it seems that Winehouse, in a simple yellow shirt with ballerina shoes, wound up hitting a guy who got in her way while she was playing pool. Hey, can’t you see Amy has a big stick in her hand? After pushing her way around the pool table, it is rumored Winehouse head butted another guy who tried to hail her a cab out of the Camden. Guess it’s not a good idea to get into Amy’s business for any reason…or is she is a lot like her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was accused of hitting a barman and sits in jail facing charges of perverting justice.

While other popwrecks are trying to pull themselves together, including Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, we can always count on Amy Winehouse to make a scene for the cameras. Recently she was spotted holding a friend’s baby and slugging down a shot of liquor at the same time. Seems that Amy is back to smoking, too…or at least it sure looking like a joint between her lips in a recent pic.

Well, since we all remember Amy’s famous crack video this must be some improvement for the wasted Winehouse. The large joint doesn’t seem to be crack at least and maybe Winehouse will get the munchies and put some meat on those bones…Anyway, it seems obvious that Amy is not doing well with her resolution to stay clean.

In fact, according to inside word about Amy, she’s a long way off from being clean. Further word to The Sun about the popwreck says, “It was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute. She’s not the kind of artist you can stick in a studio for a month and get an album done. And now I think 2009 would be a good result.” From the recent pics of Amy, that even seems like a tight schedule…

We’ve watched plenty of automobile accidents over the past year or so, including Britney Spears (she’s been in several), Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and that sticky fatal accident Brandy was in awhile back. It seems another celebrity has been in a serious car accident with alcohol involved – Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James, of television show “Monster Garage”.

Apparently the couple was in a head on collision with a drunken driver as stated by the police on Saturday. The duo was being driven in an SUV on Friday night and a station wagon crossed over the center line hitting them, according to Lt. Jerry Cook of Gloucester police. The two vehicles were totaled but luckily nobody got hurt. Both of the vehicles were traveling at about 15 or 20 miles per hour. The misdirected station wagon was driven by Lucille Gatchell, who registered a 0.20 percent blood alcohol level which is more than twice the legal limit.

Despite the other party’s intoxication, 43 year old Bullock was concerned about whether she was okay and Cook said Sandra was “gracious”. What a lady – imagine a celebrity being the victim of such an accident rather than the perpetrator AND being gracious. Seems that popwrecks could take a lesson or two from the lovely Sandra Bullock…

While Jessica Simpson hangs out with Tony Romo, sis Ashlee Simpson got engaged to Pete Wentz and was spotted wearing a rock at the Ritz Carlton in New York City. Word on the street says Ashlee is pregger and the couple is not only getting married but having baby.

Meanwhile, Papa Joe Simpson is already trying to sell pics of his possibly pregger daughter. Papa Joe, a preacher turned manager of his famous daughters, has been accused of shamelessly promoting his daughters in the past. Apparently a source over at Page Six says that “Joe is contacting all the weeklies and asking them to pony up $1 million to put Ashlee on the cover.” Seems that Joe wants to “make more money” and is also trying to score an interview and baby pics cash when the event happens. An editor is already shooting down Papa Joe’s high hopes saying, “$60,000 maybe, but definitely not a million.” Guess Ashlee and Papa Joe won’t be getting the same million as Jennifer Lopez – but it seems Papa isn’t ashamed to keep knocking on doors for money. After all, remember those photos he sold of Jessica wearing a very skimpy swimsuit in Mexico on her 26th birthday?

It’s been pretty quiet in blogosphere these days when it comes to Britney Spears. Formerly the popwreck of the day, Britney seems to be taking a break from her usually unbelievable behavior. After getting rave reviews for her cameo appearance on “How I Met Your Mother”, Brit had a minor traffic accident last weekend. But that seems to be the worst of her antics these days, apparently because she is committed to getting her boys back.

An insider recently told OK magazine that, “Britney wants her kids back. And she will do everything in her power to make that goal a reality.” Her next court date is on May 6, when Brit may be awarded one night visits with her kids. She has not been allowed to have unsupervised visits with her boys since January 3, after a custody standoff with the cops at he house ending with Brit getting taken away in an ambulance. Spears got supervised visits in February when dad and his lawyers negotiated with the K-Fed law team. Mark Vincent Kaplan, attorney for K-Fed, says, “All we know is that since Jamie Spears has been involved it has been a very stabilizing force.”

Further word on the street told OK mag, “Britney will be able to document how much better her interaction with everyone is, especially the children. You can see it in Sean Preston and Jayden’s faces when they’re around their mother now. Gone are the sad expressions and the frequent tears.”

Kaplan says about it all, “Kevin’s goal is primary custody, but he also wants to see Britney, over time, become a solid and substantial figure in the boys lives. That’s always been the goal and she is inching toward that. Co-parenting is the game plan.” Hmm – guess that gives K-Fed an ongoing check while Brit watches the kids on his partying weekends? Just a thought…

Rob Lowe is being accused of sexual deviance again (remember that time back in the 80s?), this time by his nanny. According to former nanny Jessica Gibson, Rob continually exposed his “flaccid penis” to her as well as his “erect penis” to her (he must be a moody guy) and apparently repeatedly requested that she “touch his penis”. Gibson also claims he share porn images from his computer with her, asked her to massage him (wonder where), masturbated in front of her and asked her to tell him dirty stories – talk dirty to me, nanny!

Then Gibson states that Sheryl, Rob’s wife, walked around buck naked “completely exposing herself” and said “numerous sexually vulgar comments about mail genitalia”. According to Gibson, Sheryl “would talk about her sex life” with Rob and even said “she would never have a boyfriend because only a married man would want to f— her.”

For all this, the former nanny was paid 18 bucks an hour. She’s suing the Lowes for sexual harassment, sexual assault and battery, unpaid meal periods, overtime wages ad unpaid work off the clock (bloggers can’t help but wonder what that is). The damages requested exceed $50,000, amidst allegations from the Lowes that Gibson tried to extort money from them. According to the lawyer for Lowe, Gibson’s allegations are “simply untrue”.
