Despite the kindnesses exchanged after the incident, everyone is still shocked at the way Kanye West stepped on stage and took over at the VMAs when Taylor Swift was accepting her reward. Whether West thought Beyonce deserved it or not, his behavior was over the top (even when you consider his bad boy rep). Swift was polite about it and West expressed regrets.

Much like the rest of us, Toby Keith had his own opinions about the event, stating, “”You think he would have done that if Snoop Dogg would have been up there? Or Kid Rock? You think he would have run up there? You think if there had been a male figure up there accepting the award that he didn’t know and had never met, you think he would jump up there and do that? You think if Trace Adkins was up there, he would have run up there and do that? But, this is a bunch of celebrity bulls— why this blew up. I’m talking about the bare, primal, humanity … I’m talking about, you’re in a mall, you have your daughter with you, and somebody comes up and does the same thing for a different reason. You know what I mean? You’re going to get your ass whipped.”

It seems Toby feels Kanye deserved a good, old-fashioned ass whooping for swooping down on Swift…

Does our beloved, bootylicious Beyonce really hang out with drug dealers? On the other hand, it is possible to be a Hollywood hottie and avoid drug dealers? Seems unlikely, especially when they’re one of the hottest rap moguls and your hubby.

Recently Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z decided to open up about his past during an interview with Oprah Winfrey for ‘O’ magazine. According to Jay-Z, “it was natural” to start dealing drugs as a kid. Beyonce’s man stated to Oprah, “It was normal. And at some point, you become addicted to the feeling. The uncertainty and adrenaline and danger of that lifestyle.”

Jay-Z admitted he got shot at because of his activities but was never actually hit with a bullet. “That was divine intervention. Divine intervention, and nobody knowing how to shoot.”

Guess if you’re going to be a thug, it pays off to hang out with unskilled thugs. Either way, it seems Beyonce must like to hang out with the bad boys…

Seems bodacious Beyonce was accused of bad singing thanks to a presumed “board mix” of her performance last year on “The Today Show”. Who would every imagine Beyonce singing badly? Certainly not her proud papa Mathew Knowles, who had plenty to say about the fake audio clip.

Before it was officially determined to be a fake, Beyonce’s dad stated, “If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them. If no one took the time to listen to Beyonce sing ‘America the Beautiful’ and ‘At Last’ at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyonce’s vocal ability, they’ve gotta be an idiot. At twelve years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability. That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot. The vocals were obviously altered.”

The alleged prankster is purportedly surprised at how far this prank went and commented, “It’s a little bit crazy. No one in their right mind would sound like that, and no one would cheer for someone singing like that.”

We never believed anything bad about Beyonce anyway…

Rappers are usually known for their hardcore lifestyle and lyrics. The trouble in Hollywood today seems to be more white collar than the typical drugs, shooting and gang banging described in rap music. The first lawsuit involves Jay-Z, the happy husband of bodacious Beyonce. Seems that Jay-Z is being sued to the tune of $88 million for…yes, you’re going to read this correctly…rapping in a low whisper.

The guy suing Jay-Z is a rapper/lawyer/boxer named Mitchell Rose who alleges he created the technique “whisper rapping” and he wasn’t properly credited. Note that Rose is the same dude who wrote a book entitled “Mike Tyson Tried To Kill My Daddy” so his credibility may not be much…

Meanwhile, R. Kelly is being faced with a lawsuit for stealing “steppin’” dance moves from a guy who refers to himself as “Uncle Henry Love”. Uncle Henry, formally known as Henry Vaughn, claims he taught R. Kelly everything he knows about dancing so he could look less pervy and more mature during his performances. Since R. Kelly is facing his future fate in a kiddie pron trial, we don’t think he’s too worried about these allegations. A rep for R. says the lawsuit is “ridiculous”. Wonder what the raps about white collar crimes will sound like? Somehow we don’t think they’ll have the same flava…

We’ve watched plenty of couples getting together lately – Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Beyonce and Jay-Z and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. With all the nuptials going on, there are still relationships on the rocks. Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were rumored to be breaking up but were recently spotted “kissing and holding hands…laughing and smiling.” This good fortune does not seem to have spread to Madonna, who is rumored to be having some serious marital problems with her other half Guy Ritchie.

The Daily Mail, a British papers, reported the duo spend a lot of the time in Cannes apart. It seems that when the two did get together, Ritchie appeared to be “paraded at yet another high-octane celebrity party for the benefit of marital solidarity.” Some say Ritchie took a blow to his ego when Madonna asked Nathan Rissman, the former gardener and manny, to direct her documentary ‘I Am Because We Are’ about Malawi. Apparently Madonna also insisted their trip to Cannes should be solely about her film biz. An observer commented, “Guy wanted to talk about his film on the red carpet but Madonna told him this was about her movie. She made it clear to Guy that this event was about her and his nose was put out of joint.” Will we have another Britney Spears and K-Fed? Will Madonna and Britney go on the rebound together? The possibilities are limitless…

A lawsuit was filed yesterday in Federal Court in Manhattan against beautiful Beyoncé Knowles for not getting clearance to cover the song “I’m Kissing You” that was originally co-written with a singer Des’ree. Des’ree got a bit of fame for her 1994 hit “You Gotta Be” and her version of “I’m Kissing You” was used on the Baz Luhrmann’s film “Romeo and Juliet” in 1996. Beyoncé featured her version on the re-release of “B’Day”.

Des’ree and her representatives claim that when Beyoncé couldn’t work out a deal for proper clearance to cover the song, she blew off copyright laws and went ahead and recorded the song without any permission. The lawsuit is requesting that distribution of the song be stopped, along with the video and album, and Des’ree is looking for $150,000 bucks in damages.

Bloggers think that Beyoncé did the song justice, as she does anything she does, wears or says. Des’ree should be glad that someone has heard of her again through Beyoncé singing the song. Besides, is it just a case of that famous green eyed monster since Knowles is clearly hotter? All horny bloggers know is they’d rather having Beyoncé doing the kissing…and licking…and groping…
