Does Jessica Simpson have any luck in love? It seems she is always facing some type of heartache when it comes to romance. These unlucky in love status is more evident when Jessica is ready to celebrate another birthday. Of course, this year’s birthday must be the worst ever. Jess was dumped by Tony Romo the night before her birthday. That has to be the worst birthday gift bloggers ever heard of! We think the women in our lives should be grateful for another box of cheap drugstore chocolates…

Anyway, this isn’t the first bad birthday gift Jess endured thanks to the man in her life. When Jessica was dating John Mayer (yes, most recently he had a failed relationship with Jennifer Aniston) he could not be with her on her birthday. Instead of gracing Jess with his presence, he gave a present - a DVD of himself in concert. According to the NY Post, “Jessica spent the rest of the night watching the DVD on a loop, ‘being with him.’ It was so sad.”

We’re not sure which is worse - sitting through a John Mayer concert on DVD on your birthday or being dumped the night before…

Let’s face it, we’ve heard plenty about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston despite the fact he left her to hook up with hottie Angelina Jolie. As Angie and Brad’s brood grew, rumors about his relationship with ex-wife Jen continued. Jen hooked up with several Hollywood men, most recently John Mayer, but none of the relationships lasted.

The most recent rumors about Brad and Jen claimed the duo still talk on the phone but were just friends. Now Jen is checking out a whole new Brad and it’s not her ex-husband. Seems Jen went on a date with Bradley Cooper, co-star from “He’s Just Not That Into You”. The duo went out to dinner at Il Cantinori which seems to indicate Brad must might be into Jen.

A source told People mag Jen was taking it slow, though she is looking for love. Bradley, star of “Hangover”, denies he was seeing Jen before this. Does Jen have a thing for guys named Brad or does this have real possibilities?

We’ve been watching the battle closely. Over the years, Brad Pitt was first with Jennifer Aniston. When he dumped her for Angelina Jolie, his co-star in the movie Mr and Mrs. Smith, Jen was clearly pissed. The bad feelings have continued over the years as Brad and Jen maintained an ongoing friendship -despite their broken marriage and Brad’s brood with Jolie.

Recently word on the street said Jolie was peeved with Pitt for catching him chatting on the phone with his ex Aniston and considering a breakup. A rep for Pitt recently stated the rumors are “absolutely not true”. To further substantiate those words, a rep for Jolie said the accusations are “not true at all.”

The National Enquirer had reported Brangelina was breaking up, fighting over custody of their six kids and $200 million. Did the couple get tired just reading about the potential disagreement and decide to put it to rest? Or are they just pretending everything is alright? After all, it took them years to admit they got together before Brad and Jen were through…are they stalling to report their breakup? Maybe Jen knows the truth…

It’s a love triangle we’ve watched with baited breath for years. Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt when he started working with Angelina Jolie. Brad wound up with Angie and their brood and Jen wound up divorced and dating. After Jen’s recent breakup with John Mayer, it seems she’s getting her male attention from her ex-husband Brad - and Angie isn’t happy about it at all.

Apparently Angie caught Brad talking to Jen in the middle of the night. Seems Brad was in the kitchen of a rented house in Long Island, NY. All six kids were blissfully sleeping in the mansion while Brad was chatting on the phone with his ex-wife. Angie returned home from the movie set a few hours earlier than expected and busted Brad chatting up Jen.

According to an insider who spoke to Star Magazine, “Angie totally flipped out. She slammed her hand on the counter and stormed out of the room.” Brad hung up the phone but Angie purportedly still felt “betrayed and disgusted” about it all.

We can only imagine Jen is smiling to hear those words and thinking that Angie never did get that wedding ring on her finger from Brad…and all is fair in love and war…

We all know Jennifer Aniston had some hard romantic times. Jen was seemingly blissfully married to Brat Pitt when he hooked up with Angelina Jolie on a movie set. An alleged friend of Jen’s told the National Enquirer, “Her top candidate for artificial insemination is David Schwimmer!” Another friend added, “”The funny thing is that Jen said when she and David were still starring on ‘Friends,’ they made a pact that if they were both single at 40, they’d elope and start a family together!”

However, all this incriminatingly resembles a plot between their characters on ‘Friends’…leaving us with the question - does Jen really want David’s swimmers?

According to the National Enquirer, Joe thinks Tony is “too much of a distraction” for Jess and his daughter’s singing/acting career is flailing because of it. Wow, is Tony the reason why Jess has such a mediocre career - you mean it has nothing to do with her talent level?

The latest word on the street is John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston broke up - again. This means she’s a free woman and we already know she’s still friends with ex-hubby Brad Pitt, who ended the marriage to begin his brood with Angelina Jolie.

Angie, 33, and Brad, 45, still aren’t married despite their many children. It seems Jolie is depressed according to reliable sources. She was seen in New York recently, hunting for an apartment by herself. Apparently she told Pitt she needs time to herself after coping with their six children. A source claims, “Angelina has told Brad she needs her space. She is a fiercely independent person and needs time alone to feel sane and happy. Her tendency is to bolt. When she is feeling stressed and overwhelmed she often goes away by herself. Angelina is in a really low place at the moment and she seems really depressed. In the past few weeks she has had major bouts of moodiness coupled with temper tantrums. There is a massive tension between her and Brad and they have been fighting.”

Angie may have lost her control over Brad, which might be the real reason for the possible time out. An inside source reported, “Brad is beginning to reassert himself. This appears to be freaking her out. It won’t have helped that in recent months he’s been enjoying more nights out with the boys.”

The real problems will start when the nights out aren’t with the boys…and will Jen be waiting in the wings for her revenge?

So everyone was watching the news about the Oscars to try to see a cat fight between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. Since Angie walked off with Jen’s former hubby Brad Pitt and had their brood, there’s been some bad blood between the two. While we all hoped to see the sparks fly, Brad and Angie never showed to the pre-Oscars charity event. Jenn was there and apparently even had her own party before the Oscars. Guests at the party included John Mayer, Courtney Cox Arquette and Tobey Maguire. Will we have to wait until next year to see Jen and Angie fight it out?

You never know. Although OK said the meeting between Jennifer and Angelina was “quietly anti-climatic”, was there something more smoldering beneath the surface. Maybe considering Jen’s full attention was on her ex, Brad. In fact, a source said about it all, “Once her eyes met Brad’s that night, it rekindled all the old feelings. She never stopped loving Brad.” The source had more to say, “Just because Brad was swept off his feet by Angelina, it didn’t mean he stopped loving Jen.” Wow, will Angie and Octomom have more in common – their looks and motherhood without a man?

Hollywood seems to be filled with relationships going wrong these days. The worst example is the recent beating suffered by singer Rihanna. Mum’s the word on this one because the recent statement issued by her peeps was, “At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse seems to be estranged from her jailbird hubby while K-Fed asks Britney Spears for money so she can take her own sons on tour. Anyone who looks at Kevin Fatterline lately will see he mustn’t need the cash too much with a growing waistline like that…

With growing waistlines in mind, Angelina Jolie miraculously isn’t pregger now, perhaps in preparation for the upcoming possible cat fight between her and Jennifer Aniston…Wonder what Brad Pitt will do if these two babes start getting into it right in front of all the paps. We can’t imagine John Mayer doing much more than staring into space with that vague look on while Jen and Angie duke it out. Watching all these Hollywood relationships makes you want to stay home on a Friday night…well almost, see ya…
