Is beautiful Katherine Heigl alienating people? If you’re a writer or certain other pro in the business, apparently that’s the case. The most recent scandal about Katherine’s attitude involves the writers for the “Grey’s Anatomy” staff. Heigl took her name out of the Emmy contention this year because she felt the material she was given wasn’t enough for an Emmy, stating she “did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.”

Last year Heigl won the Emmy. However, a purported key show insider said everyone on the staff bent over to accommodate her film schedule and her statements are an “ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.” Heigl feels more focus was placed on the other characters this season.

It’s not a first for Heigl to open up her mouth and think later. She talked about her “Knocked Up” movie by calling it a “little sexist”. She also got into the Isiah Washington and T.R. Knight scandal, saying she would “throw down” for Knight and suggesting Washington needs “to just not speak in public”. Maybe that would be wise advise for Heigl to follow to avoid alienating everyone…
